We’ve collected some links to area attractions within an hour or so from our park.  Ask any staff member for more information or follow the links below.

If you’ve visited any other attraction during your stay that you think we should tell others about, please let us know and we will add it to the list.  Thank you for your help in helping others improve their visit to our area.

V Bar V Heritage Site –Red Rock Country 

Located approx 30 minutes north of the park.  Take I-17 north to State Route 179 (Sedona exit).  Turn RIGHT at the end of the ramp approx 2-3 miles across Beaver Creek to RIGHT into park entrance

 

Montezuma Castle National Monument

Located just about 20 minutes north.  Take I-17 north to next exit (W. Middle Verde Rd).  Turn right at top of ramp, through the roundabout and past Cliff Castle Casino to left on Montezuma Castle Road

Montezuma’s Well: A Living Desert Oasis

Located about 30 minutes north.  Take I-17 north 2 exits to Exit 293 (Rimrock) then follow E. Beaver Creek Road to Montezuma Well

Red Rock State Park | Arizona – Arizona State Parks

Located approximately 45 minutes north.  Take SR 260 northwest into Cottonwood, then (right) onto SR 89A (toward Sedona).  Watch for signs to turn right onto Red Rock Loop Road.

 

Wildlife Park in Arizona | Out Of Africa

Just 10 minutes up SR 260 (toward Cottonwood) to left on W. Cherry

 

 

 

 

 Arcosanti

Approximately 35 minutes south on I-17 to Exit 263 (Arcosanti Road).

 

 

 

Dead Horse Ranch State Park

About 25 minutes north on SR 260 toward Cottonwood, then left on 89A toward Jerome.  Watch for signs on your right.

 

 

 

Wickenburg, AZ

Approximately 90 minutes south on I-17 to New River Road exit, then New River Road to SR-74 west to SR-60 into Wickenburg

 

 

 

Verde Canyon Scenic Railroad

30+ minutes straight north on SR 260 through Cottonwood to Clarkdale. Follow signs to the depot
